Ginkgo Café - Montréal

Sorry to say BUT The worst ever service that i got. It’s not respectful, i had a reservation at 11:30 i got my meal around 13:00, come on, u are busy yes I know but how about us?!!! as a customer, we don’t have a life u think?!! We came to the brunch we had a reservation how u can not manage it?!! Atmosphere was so noisy so busy and it was not on control. What I like it was just food thank u kitchen, that’s it that’s all. 29$ each

Cute little breakfast place in downtown Montreal. Food was very good, service was fast and friendly. Had a good time and ate well.

Not being from Canada I understood that service would be different. I came to the location because of how mentioned it was for a “brunch spot”. Unfortunately the menu was in French so I wasn’t able to understand it. I sat at the bar and wasn’t even sure who my waitress was. To be honest the bar back was more attentive. It took a while to get a drink and the food came out right away. I ordered the burger and got a sausage patty than a regular burger. Yes I ordered my food without the bun but I don’t even think that would have made a difference. Let’s just say the only good thing on the plate were the home fries because of the cheese. Would I come back no not even for a drink. The music started to really play toward closing time. At this point I’m not sure what the hype is.

We came here for brunch on a Sunday and the cafe was pretty full but not completely packed. It took more than 30mins for our food to come, we didn’t order anything too special but just two of the Benedicts on the menu and mimosas but we even saw people who came after us got their order before us which is confusing. The vibe of the cafe is pretty nice and pretty but the food was okay nothing too remarkable. Don’t think I’ll come back because there are more places worth going ti for brunch.

This place showcases a modern ambiance with some cozy details. I visited during a rainy day and I felt so welcome.Food was very tasty. I had eggs Benedict with salmon and I do not regret my choice.If you want a fast service please note that we waited almost 30 minutes for our food to come.You can make online reservation if you want. When we visited (weekday) there were seats available.
