The Avenue Grill - Moundsville

This place is fantastic! The credit card machine was not working, so I had to use the ATM. The bartender kindly offered to cover the cost of the ATM fee because of the issue with the credit card machine. I have never experienced this gesture before - it was so thoughtful!

My friend and I are new to the area and we tried the Spicy Garlic Parmesan Chicken Wings, the Bacon Cheeseburger, Smoky Mozzarella Fries, and the Raspberry Chimichangas for dessert. Everything was fantastic! The burger was the best I've had in years - seasoned, tender, and juicy. The wings were crispy on the outside and tasty on the inside. The salad was missing some ingredients, but the bacon, cheese, and spices made up for it. My friend thought the wings were a bit understated, but I enjoyed them. The mozzarella fries were delicious and the raspberry chimichanga was warm, sweet, and satisfying. I might come back tomorrow just for that dessert. Overall, we definitely plan to return before we leave the area.

This restaurant is a hidden gem! I tried one of the best burgers I've ever had (easily in the top 5). My friend had wings, and we also shared bacon cheese fries and jalapeno poppers (I think that's what they were called). Everything was fantastic! Out of all the restaurants we visited during our trip to West Virginia, this burger was the standout. The restaurant is located behind the gas station, with parking available in the lot or on the street.

I can't believe how clean and beautiful the staff is here! We came from the city and were recommended to this bar and grill and WOW. The best bat! Thanks for the drinks and ingenious food!

Food is always top notch!! The smoky ranch sauce is to die for!
