#38 erster Halt in München enttäuscht nicht This was the first place we stopped on our Munich adventure. We loved it! The fact they have free WiFi, take credit cards and have English menus was phenomenal. I did drink all the Grey Goose they had in the place, but that's ok ; Our server(s was/were super amazing day one, day two and day three of our either before or after Oktoberfest visits. We watched two Fußball games here, ate hella food and drank quite a bit. Where we returned the second time the bartender remembers us and we loved that. I tried the foods, and again--drank ALL the vodka. The beer was delicious and the food was as amazing.
I agree with the other reviews about this place not being 5 star. The food is fantastic, service great and prices very reasonable. Good location near Ostbahnhof and some hotels. Tons of restaurants in the area but I'll come to Leo's any day. The basic schnitzel (fried pork) is great and always cooked perfectly. Menu is a bit different with some American and Tex Mex accompanying the German food, but can't complain as it adds variety to a standard local restaurant menu. Not sure who Leo exactly is, but job well done, Leo!
I don 't understand why this restaurant (bar) does not have a higher score. This place is 5 star. I was here for a (romantic) dinner with a girl. We wanted to go to a place nearby, but that was closed. So going here was a coincidence. The staff was warm and very friendly, the decoration cosy, the music great for a restaurant, in style and volume, the food tasted good (turkey a little too salty), toilets clean, credit cards accepted, I didn 't check if they have WiFi. They have a collection of magazines to read. I didn 't check if only in German or not. The 'special ' was a schnitzel with salad and fries for 7,90 Euro! The schnitzel may have been the largest I ever ate. I uploaded a photo. I would go here again for sure.
Cocktail Happy Hour, good price, ingredients rather cheap. Eat expensive, intermediate ingredients.
The food was very good and fresh. The service is friendly and helpful. Come back.
