Contribuir a la retroalimentaciónAfter a days cycling we were hungry. We asked a for recommendation from our pension and the Goldene Rose did not disappoint. The schnitzel and chips was great with really fresh chips. It’s not fancy but good food done well. Good price. The house wine was not great- beer might have been a better choice.
Friendly service and solid food for kids and parents. We had mix of pizza and pasta and all was very good. We had to sit inside as garden was reserved for lodging guests. Had the place to ourselves, which was fine.
We arrived at the Goldene Rose after 1350, they were busy and the sign said that food was only served till 1400. We asked if we were too late to eat and were told the food might take a while. Nevertheless the service was fast (food arrived in 15 minutes) and friendly, the portions generous and the food very good. The decor was traditional and slightly on the old-fashioned side. We ate the Schlutzer, which are traditional, Tyrolean spinach-filled ravioli. They were served with a generous amount of parmesan.
Typical location. efficient service and cost in standard.
We ate here a couple of nights as we were staying in a local hotel. We didn't quite know what to expect as we couldn't understand the menu at all! The woman who showed us to our table was friendly despite the fact of not being able to understand us. She soon found a younger girl who was again very friendly, and she soon found us an English menu. She was very eager to help, recommending us certain dishes etc. It was a very cosy atmosphere inside, with people bustling in and out. The menu offered to us was a selection of local dishes (a mixture of pasta, meat, fish and a few other things) and they were BIG portions! The desserts were incredible! I would have loved to have come back, and hopefully if we visit the area again, we will do!
