The pig hacked my husband and I shared it was salty and overcooked for medium wells. Typically, this pork is perfected, juicy with the perfect season. It was salty and 1/2 was carburized and dry. The rest was great. The service was quite normal. Very slow. I asked for soft butter when we sat down first. The waiter came back 10 minutes later with water. I asked for soft butter a second time. 15 minutes later our bread was cold I stood up to ask the front greeting staff if we could mention softened butter, I asked our waiter twice and had waited 15 minutes. Our waiter apologised and said he couldn't find his other waiter, disappeared on him. After the meal we asked for the bill. We told our waiter to use our gift certificates and take a 20% tip from the gift certificate. He argued with us that the only way to leave the gift certificate is to leave the whole balance as a tip. My husband asked when this change, the waiter said it was that the entire 2 1/2 years he worked there. My husband said we've been coming here for over 20 years and have always been able to leave part of the gift voucher as a tip without leaving the whole balance. The waiter said let me ask the manager. It took a long time. He apologized that he did not realize that could be done. At the entrance showed a 20% tip 29.62 and took more than that. We had 2 gift certificates. 1 for 88 the other for 150 = 238. The invoice was 160 29.62= 189.62. 238- 189.62= 48.4. Our balance should have been 48.40. The waiter returned with a balance of 40.32 back on our gift card, instead of what 48.40 the waiter said to his manager did, and said he could ask to fix it. After we waited so long for him to apply the gift certificate, we didn't want to wait any longer and say that it doesn't matter that we don't have to wait again.
Meal was fabulous, but we know that the server tried to be helpful, but he made us feel hurried.
Steak was cooked to perfection. Everything brought to the table was a new amazing experience of what an elegant meal when properly cooked, handled and presented should be. Every staff member gave 150% towards creating a wonderful birthday celebration for us!
Sat in open area, prefer private booths. Busy night, low in staff and cooks. Longer than usual for service and food but still one of our favorites places to dine. Extensive wine and drink menu Enjoyed an expression martini, mixed grill with creamed spinach and garlic mashed potatoes.
