However, what it offers is the possibility to eat your heart at an affordable price of $16.95 per person for dinner or a $9.95 per person for lunch. This whole AYCE buffet is conveniently located in Sunnyside, Queens is one of very few available in the neighborhood, and is perhaps the best bang for your Buck. Food: 3.5/5- As a Chinese buffet they serve all your standard foods and Chinese specialties. There is a decent selection of seafood including King Crab legs, salmon, teriyaki fish, and various shrimps and crabs in various dishes. There is also a good selection of meat from thin cut chicken to steak. The salad bar is your standard salad bar with various greens, deviled eggs, a selection of cheese and fruits as well as a wide selection of sauces. My favourite part of this place is the Sushi Bar, where there is a decent selection of freshly made sushi. All foods had good flavors, though not fantastic. Service: 4/5 The service here is not outstanding, but is much better than many other Chinese buffets. The waiters and waiters come around quite often to refill water, and in general are more attentive. They serve themselves so that a lot of work does not belong to them, but for what they do is done to an acceptable standard. You also have a birthday special where they sing a song and give a free cupcake if you have evidence that one of your members has a birthday. Atmosphere: 4/5 The place is quite large and has a ton of seats. The lighting is a little dim, but this actually adds to the atmosphere. It has an almost romantic feeling that is strange for an AYCE buffet. The utensils are beautifully presented, the seating is cozy, and there is plenty of space on foot. Overall: 4/5 I would actually give this a 3.5/5, but I will push it to 4 because the price is so beautiful for the amount of food you eat. Once again this place does not blow my mind, but it is consistently a good meal. I would not go here more than once every few months, but if I were hungry, and had only less than 20 bucks, while I wanted to get out, this would be a solid choice.
A cheap buffet restaurant. While New Grand Buffet will not fulfill the dream of a Gourmand, it has some delicious farewell. They tend to overcook such things as snow crabs legs and shells in general. The legs of the salt and pepper frog, spicy baby octopus (the entire miniature eceptode), hot and acid soup and most desserts are consistently reliable in my experience. The Chinese dishes are often acceptable if not the best versions you've met at dinner. The price is right.
Buffet is getting fresher now. I went another day, the food looks different, looks like they did something new, it looks more fresh and tasty, I'm glad the price is the same
It's been a while. I haven't gone to the new big buffet for a long time, I bring my best friend to go another day for her birthday, and of course I got her free birthday present as a good lunch! and she's happy! how can I say the best price for everything you can eat
I would say that the buffet is definitely worth the price . At around 14 for lunch and around 20 for dinner the prices are right. There is quite a few selection of foods , mostly seafood which I like but they also have 2 3 chicken and 2 3 other meats. They have a good salad section, fruit section and pastries including ice cream. Would recommend.
