Contribuir a la retroalimentaciónIf I pay $25 for a duck, I expect the food to be excellent. The food we ate was mediocre. I wouldn't eat here again. Our server was amazing. She made conversations and was polite and fast with service. For that.
We celebrated the 50th last night. My colleague's birthday and have to say we were quite disappointed. We arrived 20 minutes before our reservation and checked with the hostess. We told her we were at the bar with a drink and let us know when our table was ready. 10 minutes after our reservation should begin, I checked with the hostess and she said she thought we would eat at the bar and give away our table. At this point I reminded them of our exchange words on arrival and that we would be at the bar with a drink. She contradicted me and said they were fully booked. I told her the reason why you make a reservation is to guarantee a table, and without point I told her that we “eat” at the bar. That was an acceptance of her. I burst enough of a fit without raising my voice that she found a table for us and obviously was unhappy with us because of her attitude. Then we ordered 2 appetizers garlic bread and Arancini. The bread was great, the cheese in the middle of the Arancini was cold, not even warm. We both ordered the same entree and it was delicious and unfortunately, lukewarm. We had a lovely server, Maria, but our meal was not right, as the appetizers and entrees came from each other within minutes and we felt rushed to eat while the food was still warm, not hot. I have eaten several times in this restaurant and it was always good. After last night, I think I'm not going back. It is regrettable because it is a great location with a great menu.
Small portions and limited interaction with waitress. Not expected.
Restaurant closed kitchen at 7:30? Food is good when you shop at Macy's
Food really delicious. Service perfect. Comfortable modern decor. Good food and drink selection. A little pricey, but it is NYC.
