Applebee's Newark

On our last visit to this particular location, our Whiskey Bacon Burger was grossly under cooked and our waitress was inattentive. I have enjoyed Applebee's for many years across many different locations but like so many large casual dining chains, trouble is brewing. Portion sizes are down, prices are up, and the quality is inconsistent. Not happy.

Good experience. Our waitress, Madison, was very nice and helpful. Other staff in the restaurant were also very friendly. The food was good and came quickly. Applebee's is not five star dinning, but the food is consistent and reasonably priced. Bathroom floor was sticky. Overall a good experience.

Have not even ordered, but I noticed that this is the filthiest Applebees I've ever been. service is moderate; no napkins, bathroom is a mess, and the tables were not cleaned. I mean mask to wipe the table. A good thing, but my waitress is very pleasant. Hopefully the food will be my first impression of this place.?

If someone places a Togo order, give them some utensils!! Just got an order with NO utensils to eat the food with! We are are just visiting the area staying in a hotel and now have to eat pasta and mashed potatoes with our hands. Annoyed.

Am a regular customer wherever I go. But today it was a little different. French onion soup was half portion. Chick and shrimp were dry and smaller than usual. The table was broken and I almost spilled my beer. Not a complaint, the service was great as usual, clean and friendly service. Its just a note the manager or the person in charge to make things better... always 20% tips or more due to very good service. Other than that... would've been straight 5 stars.
