Really nice, friendly caffe. host interesting presentations and shows high quality local art. the personal is always friendly. good choice of vegan food.
My daughter and I love eating and the atmosphere here in the old newark castle railway station building. we arranged to order 4 vegan sausage rolls to take when we arrived at lunch. these are the best vegan rolls I've ever tried! for lunch we ordered both roasted vegetables and cuddly sandwiches on the root and pumpkin seed bead, which was still warm from the one. before we left the waitress, we brought our tour, which was also warm from the ones, as they were made fresh to order. this caffe has an impressive weekly event list including meat-free montages, wealthy Wednesdays and they also lead a community café. parking right in front of the door.
I have dined in and ordered takeout from this welcoming local cafe several times. The food and drinks are delicious, and the location is convenient, situated right next to the train station and near the town center. There are many vegetarian options, as well as some vegan choices. The staff is well-informed, and the prices are reasonable for the generous portion sizes. Their vegetarian breakfasts and afternoon teas are exceptional. The cafe is located in the historic train station buildings and has a charming steampunk theme. They host a community cafe on Wednesday evenings with a budget-friendly set meal, and they have been providing meals to those in need during the pandemic. Customers can also choose to "pay it forward" by purchasing a meal for someone through this initiative.
This café is truly lovely and welcoming. They often host fascinating lectures and showcase beautiful local art. The staff are consistently friendly, and they offer a great variety of vegan options on their menu.
