Ocean Teale 'haere Mai Te Kai '

Had raw fish, rewana bread, fry bread burger and ribs with kawakawa soda. Fantastic Māori kai and excellent service for very reasonable price. If you're passing through Ngunguru make sure you stop by!

Was up in Matapōuri for the day and had to stop by for the kai. We had the raw fish, rewana bread, fry bread burger and ribs all so fresh and delicious. We're both into good food and we really enjoyed them. Would love to try the hāngi sometime!

Wow! I have been desperate to try Ocean Teale since they opened! How wonderful to have them in our small coastal community!! The sticky pork ribs were loved by all! The Kawakawa cheesecake was so good!We were able to text our order, then come pick it up. So great!Can't wait to try more from their menu!! Delicious!!
