If you want to get her to eat, order them 3 or 4 days before the arrival.

3 stars for the sandwich but service was a weak 2 stars. I went to Wingstop today after receiving an offer for a free chicken sandwich. They just added this item to their menu- the latest chain to compete in the chicken sandwich war. What's interesting is that it comes in multiple flavors. It's offered in all of the same flavors as their wings. I decided to try their hickory smoke bbq flavor. I had read that this is one of the better sauce options that's not too spicy. I was also looking for one that wasn't dry as I heard the garlic parm one is good but on the drier side. The sandwich was certainly not dry. It was actually a little too saucy for me. I had to take some off. It's a very simple sandwich- just the bun, the chicken breast, which is grilled and comes in a good size portion, and 4 pickles. The sauce itself was okay. Most bbq options at fast food chains are on the sweeter side. This one has more of a smoky flavor. I do prefer my sauces a little sweeter so I (shamelessly) added some sweetener to the sauce to make it a little more sweet. With my little tweak, I found it tasted better. The issue for me was with the service. First of all, the cashier was not aware this promo was going on, so I had to explain to her what it was. Then, there was an issue with redeeming the code, so I had to place the order online, which put me behind in the queue, so I needed to wait. Then, it turned out, the order was never received in their system, so they had to write it down manually. In total, I was in the store more than half an hour waiting for my sandwich. The man ahead of me who ordered a family meal even got his before me somehow. By the time I did get my food, I was feeling very impatient. Overall, I would be curious to try the other flavors of the sandwich, but I probably wouldn't go out of my way to do so, and I would certainly order ahead beforehand if returning to this location.
