Firehouse Subs West Montague

This place has the best hot subs around. Every time I go there I have tried a different sandwich and I have loved everyone of them.. they are reasonably priced and affordable. Most if the employees were wonderful at this location. The older woman who took our order and money was not nice at all.. it seemed like she does not like working with the public and should be in a different career field but what ever.. luckily we were done with her after we paid for our order.. I would say you gotta try this place out if you haven't already

I ordered two sandwiches the engineer sandwich and the Jamaica sandwich. I waited more than 25 minutes, people keep coming in and out after me and get their order. People were waiting there a lot. There was two firefighters waiting for their food. They were for so long they had to go back to work And serve our country and they had to get their money back because they didn’t make their sandwich and I asked for my money back they didn’t even even asked me why give me my money back and I left after 30 minutes ridiculous!

Franchise Owner Russell was very classless and rude when I came in to pickup my order today. When I came in to pickup my order I placed via the app I was told it was already picked up by a delivery driver. I advised them that was incorrect because I opted for in store pickup as I did not order through a delivery partner I ordered through the app. The owner Russell refused to honor my order even after showing him my confirmation email. He continued asking for further proof instead of admitting he messed up. Even after I confirmed the last 4 of the card, he offered no apology. He should not be in a position of power with that type of character and behavior. I will never frequent this establishment again.

I've had good experiences at this Firehouse Subs for lunch. If you become a rewards member and download the app, you can earn free subs and sides. You also receive a free sub for your birthday, which is a nice perk that you have about a week to use.As a chain, Firehouse Subs is very meat-focused, and my husband always goes for the Hook and Ladder. I am pescatarian but not a huge fan of their tuna salad, so I go with the veggie. I'm not sure if the veggie is on the menu board, but if you ask, the employees will make it for you, and it's certainly available on the app.The veggies (peppers, onions, and mushrooms) are grilled, the bread is warm and toasty, and you can add lettuce, tomatoes, black olives, and condiments. The Captain Sorenson's hot sauce is always delicious, and you can even buy a bottle of it.My last order on the app was correct, available at the promised time, and I liked that the employees keep the online orders behind the counter so no one can grab my order. The sub has veggies and cheese in every bite and is a solid lunch.I typically get Firehouse to-go, but this location has a patio area that would be fun for lunch with a friend or coworker on a nice day.
