Hunan Garden - North Mankato

Hunan Gardens is geared towards lunch buffet and take out. The food is average for a Chinese restaurant, but when I do take out here, I get so much that I easily get 2 meals out of it. At $8 for a dinner special you get more than enough food.

Took carry out on a Sunday evening, they were very busy but quoted time quite accurately. Friendly staff and a family run business.Food was very good overall, the Chicken Lo Mein was probably the best we've ever had! Sesame Chicken, Pork Fried Rice and Beef Broccoli also very tasty. Prices were competitive with similar Chinese restaurants.

I had the general chicken with pork fried rice and an egg roll. The portion size is good. I think the chicken could have a little more spice and a couple more pieces of broccoli, otherwise it was good.

Great food, great owners. Go here often. Never had an
