I have dined at this restaurant three times in the past few months and feel confident in leaving a review. Each time, we have enjoyed the tapas menu which is a great deal at three choices for £22, including chips or salad. I have tried several options and have not been disappointed. The portions are generous, unlike other tapas restaurants where I often leave feeling hungry or as if I haven't gotten my money's worth. During our most recent visit with my family of five, everything we tried was delicious. My favorites are the pork belly with apple sauce and the stilton mushrooms. The pub itself is decorated uniquely and beautifully, showing the talent of an artist. However, the highlight for me is the young and friendly staff who are enthusiastic and helpful. I am a big fan of The Harnser, it has become my favorite place and I look forward to returning.
Eating and personal are great, but as with everywhere the prices go to a point, it becomes unreasonable, as its nice.
The room first. we were for a few nights and while the room is small (the double room) it is a really nice room, nicely furnished with everything they need for a comfortable stay in this opposite. the restaurant we had two breakfasts and a meal in the restaurant. the breakfasts were perfectly cooked, with high quality ingredients that were cooked to order and the service was friendly and very welcoming. on Saturday evening we had dinner in the restaurant and we chose both for Inc-Fries or salat tapas. this was excellent quality and amazing worth. eating was hot, tasty and presented to a high standard. the portions were generous for tapas and we enjoyed all six dishes that we chose between us. also the sundaes for dessert were excellent. I can't judge this high enough and the very young highly talented cook could be good someone we all hear in the future. if they are in the opposite, this pub is just perfect.
The harnser is owned and managed by ronan (no l’s or d’s), who is the most beautiful host, always on the look for his guests, including welcome them when they arrive when he is around (and he is in the rule). the anwesen has its own parking space. area that is incredibly valuable in cley. he has created a very comfortable, welcoming bar and restaurant area that has sofas, comfortable chairs, a bar and a newly installed wood stove. they can go from here to the spectacular salt meadows or to the pub or bird reserve. we have only eaten breakfast, which was very good quality and freshly cooked, although it takes one because they only use one arga currently. his dinner plates looked generous. the rooms are upstairs and comfortable, but not luxurious (in the price I think deflected). most are en-suite only with showers, and some will soon be for an up-date. windows are single glazed that takes me back as they receive condensation on them on tomorrow. the heating is done by an electric heater that works well, but must be expensive and environmentally) with the only glazing. (Ground source heat pump could be here with the parking an option it is a great place to stay if you want to explore the opposite, or like cley.
