I came to this restaurant to celebrate my birthday with my family after reading 4.5-star reviews on Google. The sushi was average, like any other sushi restaurant, and the prices were quite high. The service was slow, with only 2 waiters working, so we had to wait a long time for everything. The most disappointing part was when my family surprised me with a birthday cake, but we were told we had to pay extra if we wanted to eat it there. We have never experienced this kind of stinginess before, as most restaurants would offer a complimentary birthday cake for their guests. Our bill ended up being over $200 for 5 people. I give 3 stars for the average food, 1 star for the bad service, and for ruining my birthday. I will not be returning.
My family and I have dined at this restaurant multiple times and have never been disappointed. The sushi is prepared right in front of you using fresh ingredients, and it always tastes delicious. The customer service could be a bit slow, but overall it is good.
This restaurant is a cozy Japanese Korean spot with charming curtains and cubicles. The staff is friendly and the sushi menu has a variety of options at good prices. However, the spider roll was disappointing- it was mostly dough with maybe a leg of soft shell crab and surimi, priced at $11.95. I would be willing to pay more for a higher quality product. Overall, the sushi rice was well-made.
I had a wonderful dinner and experience with my husband. It was great food and small restaurant with quaint private rooms. Reservations highly recommended. If you don't want to eat raw fish there's cooked meat and fish options as well as noodles and vegan sushi
