Regent Cakes - Northbridge

En general, como la gama de pan y pasteles. Tortas, especialmente, ya que son deliciosamente ligeros. Sin embargo, me quedé muy decepcionado con algunos de los rellenos de carne a medida que contenían un montón de aire vacío en el medio. Probablemente comió más aire que el pan o la carne. Todavía un pulgar hacia arriba para los pasteles.

What happened to this place? Their cakes and bread used to be so good. I visited recently and unfortunately, the food was bad. The coconut tart had a disgusting after taste. The egg tart was not nice either. Pastry was crumbly. We also got a fruit cake from there recently for a birthday and the sponge was so dry. I wonder if they taste the food they make.  Service was friendly though. It's a shame because we don't have many good asian bakeries in Perth.
