The Turks Head - Northumberland

Lovely meal. Beef n gravy ciabatta and chips was perfect and fish n chips lovely. Good portion size. Too full for dessert sadly. Highly recommended

Stayed 2nights can't fault anything friendly staff were brilliant ,rooms spotless and very cosy, food excellent through out definitely will be going back in the near future.

We went as a large family group and were well looked after by the staff and we all enjoyed our food. All the pub classics were on the menu and the staff were knowledgable about gluten and lactose intolerances. My wife and I plan to have a wee holiday in Northumberland in October and will definitely come back to the Turks Head.

I decided to stop in for lunch at this restaurant after not visiting for years. I opted for my favorite dish, mince and dumplings, which was perfect for the cold winter day. The portion size was generous, leaving little room for vegetables in the bowl with the mince and dumplings. The food was served hot on a heated plate and everything was exceptional. Despite feeling full, I decided to order sticky toffee pudding for dessert. It was delicious, but I regretted ordering it as I was too full to finish it.
