Contribuir a la retroalimentaciónSeems to be a semi detach house as you arrive situated outside Novara just 5 kilometres in the country side near the Olengo town church. as you enter it is clearly a sort of Portobello London market type full of old antiquities of all sorts maybe excessively too much even because it is difficult to avoid the dust that covers all of this hundreds of item hanging from all over! Local traditional food very tasty with very Generous portions the restricted menu’ changes weekly and it is wise to ask before booking for what is available. Price wise maybe slightly over the top however all in all a good place to visit from time to time best in the summer. Good waiter service, in my opinion not particularly good atmosphere for couples but excellent from four people up! Would I return back? YES.
I was brought to this place by some local friends and we had the degustation menu. Although the owner does not speak english, it was a great experience, as my friends translated for me. I enjoyed the interior with so many old stuff hanging and staying around this makes the restaurant very special. Food was absolutely great! I will come back as soon as I am back in Novara the only drawback is that it is hard to find, as it is somewhere in the countryside. Thanks for a great evening!
A rich selection of Piedmontese appetizers welcomes you before you sit and start the real lunch full of tasty dishes of freshly cut salami, homemade paniscia and sweet gnocchetti, followed by ground tapulon with hot disks of polenta and roasted veal with mushrooms; chocolate cake and panettone and a strong cup of coffee conclude this perfect meal. The restaurant was crowded but waiting times were acceptable even if there were only two people serving: between two courses it was fun to look at all the crazy old things the walls were covered with. Prices were reasonable and all inclusive. We got out of this place happily full of good food and satisfied.
