Also the noodles taste like they are the freeze dried noodles in cheap ramen packs. The broth has literally no taste at all. The gyoza was burnt. I asked for extra sauce and never got it. Not worth the money AT ALL!! Go somewhere else!
Was overall quite impressed with this restaurant, and am very puzzled as to why this restaurant isn 't ranked higher in their Yelp ratings? Our server Ryan was a sweetheart, the food was pretty good and there 's a free bottle of quality Sake with the Yelp check in. So honestly, what is there not to like? I had tickets to see a performance of Fun House at the Mad Cow Theater which is located upstairs from this restaurant , and normally seeing the 3 stars rank on Yelp would not have picked this restaurant as our pre dinner theater option. But this was the place chosen by my fellow theater goers and I entered on sufferance and loved that I walked out, pleasantly surprised! My co diners got the Katsu Dinner chicken and the Chicken Teriyaki Dinner. The Katsu dinner was inhaled very quickly and the person who ordered it said she loved the taste. The Chicken Teriyaki got a verdict of pretty good as well. For my dinner choices, I got the veggie Eden Roll $9 and the Tonkatsu Ramen 12.50 . I loved the crunchiness and the smoothness of the Eden roll. I don 't know what all the veggies that were in the roll, but the avocado cucumber lettuce flavours was predominant. Each bite was crisp and very cool no muddling of taste, which I appreciated. My Tonkatsu Ramen broth had that lovely white sheen that you can only find with the real thing, however I do think there could be deeper depth of flavour. I loved the unctuousness of the pork belly in the ramen it had all the crispy, fatty, oil taste that you want. The soft boiled egg too nailed it.. but.. but... I wanted just a wee bit more veggies. Some mushrooms or seaweed would have been awesome to compliment the bean sprouts scallions. My total cost for dinner was $25 and change including tip . BTW a special shout out for their Wasabi. This stuff was hot and threatened to take off my head a couple of times with its spiciness. Am glad got to try this place out, and will definitely return and recommend low Yelp ranking non standing! . Yelp 99/2018 Yay! 1 more review to go and then I 've hit my goal 100 new places that I have tried and Yelped about in 2018!
This place is located right downtown in church st. The food is good and so is the service. Nice place for a date night.
I called and made reservations at 9pm for 2, the gentleman who answered the phone was very polite. Upon arriving, the male host gave out a wonderful welcoming vibe. This was a great late night dining experience for sure. Our server for the night was Marc! He was so sweet and came by to check on our table often as well as the host! We ordered off the BITE30 menu with a side of their spicy garlic edamame! The food came out promptly and drinks were always filled. Very good sushi quality and very beautifully decorated. I will recommend and come to this place again! Thanking the sushi chefs and our waiters for satisfying my late night sushi and creme brûlée craving!
Fantastic Asian food in a great location with amazing happy hour deals. I've been to Amura a few times for lunch and for happy hour. Each time, everything has been great. Amura is located right next to Graffiti Junction and Jersey Mike's on your way to the Suntrust Parking Garage. It is a great place to stop if you are going to see a play upstairs at Mad Cow. The doors leading inside are fairly tinted, so you'll actually be a little surprised to walk in to this fairly well lit restaurant. I'm a huge fan of orange chicken, so that's what I have ordered each time for lunch. The orange chicken they provide is great and always in large portions. They also have other great lunch options and a pretty good sushi menu. What I really want to talk about is Amura's happy hour. I believe it goes from around 4 or 5pm until 6 or 7pm (6:30 I think? , but it is amazing. You can get a wide range of items for really really cheap that are really really good. I've gone with my wife's family to get various types of sushi, coconut tenders, and drinks for something around $4-$8 apiece for huge portions. This has to be one of the best happy hour deals in downtown Orlando. Overall, if you are looking for some good asian fusion food and a great happy hour deal downtown, this is the place to go.
