Contribuir a la retroalimentaciónSisters dinner night out yesterday 10/13/23 turned into a nightmare. First time dining here since before the pandemic. We were so excited as we don’t come to this area anymore due to our moves and was so excited to eat! We even saved our bellies to come feast as we were that excited. The waiter’s tone of voice gave us all a feeling like he did not want to be there but we continue to think positive as we’re trying to have a good night. The waiter didn’t even ask how I want my steak for their Specialties 6 course meal so I had to ask him do I get that option before he walked away with taking our orders. In the end my steak was not medium rare as I asked, shrimp was over cooked, zucchini was sour and mushy. Two of my sisters started not feeling well halfway through our dinner and just thought it was the rainy weather. As we left the parking lot one sister started feeling even more worse and in so much pain in the car. We had to do an emergency bathroom stop at a grocery store on the way home for her. And the other sister almost didn’t make it home before they had an emergency too. We traced back what we ate and there was one sushi order that only both of them shared that I didn’t eat. They mostly like got food poisoning from sharing that. Won’t be coming back as food don’t taste the same, and witnessing my sisters suffer was traumatizing.
Had the best time last night, our host Zambrano was very attentive and polite. Our chef Brendon was hilarious! He executed the way I requested my meal and it was delicious
Birthday Celebration... Food was amazing, Facility 5 , Service 5 . Atmosphere 3 Child party next to ours, they were running around screaming. Okay for Chucky Cheese not what I expected at Benihana .
I want to be clear that this is not on our chef. They were clearly new and in my opinion not ready to service a table. We had a reservation and ended up being the only two people at the table, which is fine. However, our chef did not provide us with the type of showmanship that is to be expected at this establishment (not even the bare minimum). Let’s be honest, half of the reason you go to this place is the food and the other half is the show. So, when you only get half of what you paid for, you end up leaving feeling scammed. The kicker was the 20% service charge, basically gratuity. For two people it costs us almost $200 to eat. We received okay food, our waiter was decent, but admitted they didn’t notice us for a while, and an awkward show that we could have done without. Law or no law, it is not right to remove the customers ability to tip based on experience. We did not receive service worth the extra $26 tacked onto our bill. As a customer, we are there to pay for the food period. Anything extra should be based on the level of experience provided. Point blank, don’t go to this place unless you want the cost of paying employees benefits and wages to be put on you as the consumer. I know Benihana did not put this service charge law into effect, but they are certainly going to feel the brunt of people’s ire for it, unfortunately. Save yourself the disappointment and go to Kobe in Plymouth.
Food was great. Waiter had little to no professionalism. He talked like he didn't have a clue. Chef was less then entertaining. Better show at other tables. 20 percent up charge fine but why do the waiters not bring your change back
