Delice Royal - Ottawa

My first visit to purchases on March 17th was disappointing. The items all appeared appealing, but the quality fell short. The Italian crusty bread was good, but the millefeuille pastries were only acceptable, lacking in appearance. The cannoli was a letdown, almost unbearable. Despite the good bread and appearance of other items like the quiche, the $29 spent on my first purchase does not make me want to return unless the only other option in the community is even worse.

I have found my new favorite bakery! The quality is excellent, even better than the French Bakery in the city center. My favorite items are the almond croissants and spinach and feta pastries.

Best bakery in Orleans! Always fresh treats and friendly service. The Paris bread is the best bread in our opinion!

I was searching for a gluten-free cake for my husband's birthday last week. My regular bakery was unable to make one with only four days notice, so I decided to visit Delice Royal in Forest Valley. They had a variety of options available, including amaretto, opera, chocolate, and La Fontaine in three different sizes: 6, 8, or individually. We ended up trying La Fontaine, caramel mousse, Amaretto, and a doigt de dame, and all of them were absolutely delicious. I highly recommend giving this place a try.

We have been numerous times as we live within walking distance. They carry amazing macarons from Montreal, fresh baked pastries and bread. Payment by Interac is accepted over a certain amount (5$? ,otherwise it's cash only. It's closed on Mondays. Bilingual staff.
