C’est magnifique!!! A small piece of Paris was fucked into a strip-ball in Palm Springs. Who would have thought? We were on holiday in Palm Springs, looking for breakfast goodies and stumbled on this gem. On foot we were greeted in the animated semi-French-Halb-English of the owner who was directly from the 7th. Arrondissement could be transported. With the first bite of a croissant we were transported to Paris. It had this Oh-so-delicate crust that shredded under your touch and revealed the brightest butterfly clouds inside. The Baguettes were similar magical, with a crust that almost explodes in a symphony under the fingers. I traveled far in Europe and live in a city that is nourished for its artisanal bakeries (seattle), and these are the best breads and pastries I had outside France. Brava to this wonderful Boulangerie!
This is bomb. Seriously. Real French pastries some of the best I've ever had the pleasure of devoting.
I've been here for years. Your bread is the best and the pastries and cakes all taste as they have a soft natural sweetness. That's right.
If top quality pastries made by very talented French people is your thing, you MUST visit Peninsula Pastries Palm Springs! Helen and Christophe take such pride in their pastries and boy does it come through in every bite!
