Zubia's Mexican Food - Panguitch

Zubia's is one of the newest places in Panguitch and I have to say they are off to a good start. I have eaten there a couple of times and have been happy with my meal both times. The chile verde is especially good, it is as good as anything I've ever had in New Mexico.

We stopped in here on our way to Bryce Canyon from Salt Lake City. To be honest, we weren't expecting much from this small town, but we were hungry.... and Zubia's was awesome! It appears to be a newer family-owned place, and the menu is limited (mostly burritos). But the portions are huge, and the food is inexpensive and delicious! I'm not sure how they did it, but our food was fresh, hot, and ready in less than five minutes. We will definitely return the next time we are in the area!
