We 've visited Paris quite a few times over the years but Maison Landemaine is our new favorite bakery. The service was quick and the food excellent. Our favorites were the croissants and quiche, but the pastries were awesome, too. We highly recommend Maison Landemaine.
My favorite baguette in this neighborhood! Perfectly crusty on the outside, doughy on the inside : They also do a fabulous croissant and tarte de pomme. On weekends there is often a line they staff will try to serve you as quickly as possible, but still with a smile. Love this place.
Visited the restaurant for a quiet breakfast on my past day in Paris. The food was delicious and service wonderful. We ordered rice pudding, cheese and chocolate baguette. Everything was delicious. Such a pity it was my last day, but then again, my waist line was probably grateful! Please take the time to visit if you are in the area you wont be disappointed. In particular, the bathroom was very clean and smelled fresh.
The shop was designed by the bernet and its workshop around 1900, the facades are covered with vertical ceramic panels with floral theme composed of wild flowers (coquelicots, marguerites and baskets) of partially low wheat spices, a basket or a partially high bouquet. the plinthe is decorated with a frieze of pink reddish chardon flowers. the front and interior decor is the subject of an inscription in the title of historical monuments since 23/05/1984. this nut welcomes extraordinary breads with an incredible flavor, and a choice of beautiful pastry very greedy with in addition the pleasure of the eyes. you will be welcomed by a smiling and helpful staff. A detour is necessary. a great bravo to the owners who know how to choose their real professional idem for the store
