I'm glad I didn't adjust the sweetness for my coffee or else it would've been too bitter. The tiramisu foam added the perfect amount of sweetness to the drink. The space was cozy and had plenty of seating. Perfect spot to study or hang out with friends!
This place has changed a lot in the past year. I used to go here all the time when they first opened and, honestly, it's gotten worse. The prices shot up but oh well inflation. Coffee still tastes the same, which is great cause their coffee is what kept me coming back. The teas were pretty gross though. I got a strawberry tea and the strawberry just tasted bad, it definitely didn't taste like what it did a year ago. Save your money and don't spend $6 on it lol. The ambiance and vibe changed a lot. There's way more seating and a lot more people are there studying. The music changed from smooth jazz/regular cafe BGM to Frank Ocean and Tyler the Creator. Overall, they're on the expensive side, but the coffee is good. Stay away from the teas. Good amount of tables to study at, but it can get pretty loud so bring your headphones.
The ambience is alright, wifi is solid, and plenty of seating for meeting up with a group of friends or studying with a partner or a group. Service was quick and concise. Nothing to complain there. Food options increased by a lot but the quality has decreased by the same margin. Ignoring the drinks and food, this place would be an average 3.5 or slightly touching 4, but the cafe vibes aren 't as strong as they were- especially with the music that is more on the pop side instead of calm instrumentals. However, music wise that doesn 't change much if you have head phones. Now the reason this place is a 3 is because of the Strawberry Green Tea that I ordered. The green tea taste is present, but the strawberry and everything else tastes terrible. It has to be the fruit that 's rotten, or something else entirely but overall the drink taste bad. The drink without the fruit unfortunately is poor. The coffee is the same as always.
Finally tried this place. I had the strawberry matcha, which I enjoyed (5/5) and my mom had the Ube Vietnamese coffee which she loved (5/5). The thing that bumped down the rating was the very sad strawberry croffle. We waited almost 10 minutes for it and ended up being very small (see photo). We were disappointed at the size of it for the money. It was tasty but not worth the price. If it were the size and fixings of another that was photographed a few months ago, this place would've definitely gotten a 5/5 from us. Drinks were good though.
I've driven by this spot so many times and finally decided to check it out a few weeks ago. I have been obsessed with Vietnamese coffee ever since I discovered it years ago and always try to find new spots. This place did NOT disappoint. The service was really nice and the drink I got was a creme brûlée iced Vietnamese coffee. So creamy and delicious. The creme brûlée topping took this drink to the next level, it wasn't too sweet but cut right through the acidity of the coffee and made the drink very balanced. Looking forward to trying their other menu items next time I'm back.
