Contribuir a la retroalimentaciónA confusing little joint. From the host to the literal menu itself, I felt like I was being talked down to. The food is not what you 're looking for and communication is just off. The brunch menu says things like: Don’t get cute. So there 's that. They do Mexican food, but sometimes Chinese food, but also burgers and calamari, and brunch and mimosas. The dishes seem to be ethnic fushion with a heavy emphasis on American...ized. When my order said it would come with corn tortillas, I got chips soaked in red sauce instead. The inaccuracy might explain why this menu carries such a defensive attitude. Poor menu. However, the jalapeño infused ****** Mary (as suggested by a wonderful server, Dana) was solid! Topping it with something more than just a few olives would be nice, though, given the prices. A little more TLC in the drink department would go such a long way here, as it seems most folks are here to get buzzed. Hm... the vibe reminds me of my divorced parents. They tried a lot of crazy things to make it work, but they ended up with a shiny, disappointing child. Hey, I 'm only speaking the way Edwin Mills would speak to their guests, so don 't get cute.
Being a former LA resident, when I come back home, I always look for a place that has a certain vibe and I found that place last night at Edwin Mills bar and grill. The jazz quartet caught my attention and from the pretty young lady outside to the drink and food, I was pleased 100%. I will return before I leave town on Monday. And every time I come back home, this will be a must visit. The staff were all great as well. I recommend this spot!!! Maybe they'll let me perform next time, Lol. JCraig
Cool spot for live music and drinks. Loved the ambience and the vibes. Very friendly and attentive staff.
Horrible food to be honest! The service was terrible as well. Asked for no mayo on the burger and it came lathered with it. Waited forever for it to be redone while everyone else finished their meal. Then we left a paper bag of dog treats we purchased at the dog bakery store right next to this restaurant. We called literally an hour after we left and the manager said the server didn’t see the bag but I know I left it on the booth where I sat with my family and dog with me. I got in the car and called them immediately. How does a bag of dog treats get up and walk away on its own in an hour…..? Huge amount of wasted money lost both on a below average meal and dog treats left at the table.
Hands down my favorite secret bar in Pasadena. This place takes you to Europe. Feels like I’m in Italy listening to live music and sipping wine. Cocktails are amazing. I love the appetizers. I love this place so much!!!!
