Mothers Pizzeria - Plymouth Charter Twp

If you haven't had their cheese bread......you need to make better life choices!

As one of our college students was home for a visit we were excited to visit Mothers Pizza as it was once a go to for us. Highly disappointed as we walked in they obviously expanded to the next store front which seemed promising but unfortunately proved to be a failure they completely took any character the restaurant once had away it is impersonal dull and boring. A family was lingering by the bar helping themselves behind it teen employees at tables on their phones one adult cleaning tables and one very nice young lady trying to run the place, doing the best she could for one young teen I might add! The food was bowling alley grade and the wait was horrendous (total of 2hrs) a pick up order was not happy with their 1hr wait making it known at the counter. We were a party of 3 and there was one other family grouping in the restaurant with 6-8 so not terrribly busy. Got part of our order wrong, when we finally got the boneless chicken wings they looked like pieces of shrimp. A lot of room for improvement here just the lack of atmosphere may prevent us from going back. HUGE DISAPPOINTMENT all around.

Considering I've been to the old mother's 50 times or more over the past number of years it was a total disappointment. I'm hopeful in the next 3 or 4 months that they truly get their act together because I would certainly like to include mothers as a go to place for pizza

Mother's is about to do another grand opening. My wife and I stop by after going to home. Depot on were pleasantly surprised by the new menu and the fantastic food that is made with love. There is a full bar. And there's also drinks on draft. I would highly recommend. You won't be disappointed.

I don’t know what they did to Mothers during the renovation, but man it was not the right move. I went like a week after them opening so hopefully they’ll get better as time goes on. The inside felt cheap and like a cafeteria, the food wasn’t as good as before, and the service was slow to refill waters and get our food.
