Great place. Great service. The black bass was phenomenal ?

We called ahead to ask about walk in service. We spoke to a lady who told us as long as we arrive within 15 minutes we would be ok and we don't need to make a reservation. We get to the restaurant and was greeted by two of the most disrespectful hostesses. They were short and unpleasant. Told us that we should of made a reservation. We relayed what the woman said to us over the phone and they were basically very dismissive after that. I never had a chance to experience the food and I never will. I will forever let people know about this experience

Called a day ahead and was told they do not do reservations on the weekend. We planned accordingly and showed up ready to wait a bit. The hostess informed us they do not do a waitlist either but we could come back in about 30 minutes to “see if there was a table” but there would be no guarantee. If a table opened up and someone came by before us it would be theirs. We went next door to Floriana and joined the waitlist, shortly had a table and had a wonderful evening.

Our family ate here last night and the food was ah mazing! The food was so good we forgot to take pictures first whomp whomp). I ordered the mussels which is actually listed as an appetizer, however, it is certainly an entree portion! Maybe 16 or so mussels in an amazing butter/garlic/wine sauce to be soaked up with some crusty bread! YUM!! We also had lamb chops. I 'll have to admit, I hesitated to order lamb chops at a seafood restaurant, but MAN! was it divine! Perhaps one of best lamb chop meals I 've ever eaten. The portion size again, was great. The chops were flavored perfectly and prepared medium and melt right in your mouth! Note: we substituted the risotto for mashed potatoes, not a fan of mint). Lastly, we had the Black Bass...again, perfectly seasoned, great portion size and very flavorful! We also had the shrimp appetizer which was good. If I have to offer one complaint it was the espresso martini...not awful, but have had better. They comp 'ed us for the drink with no issues, we ordered something else with lavender and lemon in it...can 't recall the name, but it was good and pretty. Overall, EXCELLENT food, service, kudos to our server Erin, very patient with us since we were first timers and provided great feedback on options we were considering), atmosphere nice, oh, and prices were fair especially for the portion sizes you get...nothing like this in Raleigh : . We 're actually going back today for lunch!

I highly recommended any of the burgers, lobster mac&cheese, the grits. Ingrid was our server, she was nice and prompt.
