Contribuir a la retroalimentaciónThis restaurant is simply fantastic! The food is outstanding, bursting with incredible flavors. The prices are quite reasonable too. Our order arrived in under five minutes, and we had no trouble finding a seat. I also want to highlight Zane, one of the owners, who took the time to visit each table and check in on every customer. It felt very personal and welcoming. I will definitely be back for brunch!
The breakfast tacos at this restaurant are the best I’ve ever tasted. I’m excited to try the whole menu, but I always end up getting the farmer breakfast taco with bacon because I just can’t resist it.
The food is outstanding and reminds me of what you would discover in New Mexico. There isn’t much seating available, so I recommend ordering takeout.
I have always loved the food at this restaurant, and in the past, the service has been outstanding. As someone from New Mexico, I can confidently say that this is the best New Mexican cuisine available in the Portland area. My family and I have been ordering from Pepper Box weekly for some time now. Unfortunately, last week they ran out of tortillas and couldn't complete our order. This week, when I called to place our order, a new employee refused to include the side dishes we requested, claiming there wasn't enough time for specials. This was shocking, as we have never had any issues with our orders before. After being treated rudely for the second time, I decided to politely cancel my order and leave. I sincerely hope that Pepper Box can enhance their service, as we genuinely love their food. We plan to give them one more chance, and I will update my review if there is an improvement in service.
I have a strong appreciation for Pepperbox; their food is always delightful. However, I can't bring myself to give them a perfect 5-star rating due to their somewhat high prices. Charging $5.50 for a single sopapilla seems excessive, especially since in New Mexico you usually get them for free or at most $2. It’s particularly puzzling that tortillas are priced at $2.50, making the $3 difference for sopapillas even harder to understand.
