Sizzle Pie - Portland

This is my favorite pizza place in Portland, Oregon. I give it 4 stars because I think they could offer a few more choices on their pizza menu. They serve their pizza by the slice, which is how I believe pizza should be served. The slices are beautiful and large, baked in a New York style. Although I had an issue with Sizzle Pie not accepting cash a few months ago, I believe that such policies are implemented to make it difficult for homeless individuals to dine there, which is a reprehensible practice. I hope that more local businesses do not adopt this discriminatory practice against less fortunate individuals.

The restaurant manager took the time to reach out to me and replace the pizza. I was very impressed that they stood behind their product! This was a five-star experience for me, as it is rare to see a business that truly cares about its customers. The replacement order was delicious, thank you! The issue has been resolved and the pizza will now be excellent. However, the quality has become inconsistent. The last two pizzas I ordered were burnt (black crust) on the bottom and the vegan ranch tasted like cheap, clumpy mayonnaise. My garlic knots were also overcooked and hard. We will no longer be ordering from here.
