Wines by the glass (white or red) $13, Specialty wines $13-$16 (prices as of 8/19/23)First time visiting this intimate, rustic wine tasting room and production facility in Poway. Tristan poured for us and was a very gracious host and extremely knowledgeable about their wines. They have a nice selection of whites, reds, dessert wines, Sangria, and refreshing slushies. Their fruit is sourced primarily from California, and they make a little bit of everything. IMO, the white wines tend to be a little lighter bodied, crisp, with little time on oak. The reds were a little lighter bodied than what we usually prefer, but well made. The two dessert wines were outstanding. Wine tasting is very subjective, so you should definitely give it a try for yourself. They don 't have food, however there are several local food vendors that will either deliver or you can pick up and eat there. The inside tasting room is not huge, but they have a large outdoor patio with wonderful views of Old Poway Park and the sunset. They 're open later than most wineries, so that 's a perk as well.Definitely worth a visit when you 're in the area.
Wonderful little spot. Staff is incredibly friendly and up for a chat if you are! Wine is lovely and they are great at making suggestions. (I'm a little new to wine so I really need suggestions on what to try next based on the random ones I've had so far and the flavors I like). It's a cozy spot inside that has been very nice to stop in to for some AC but it'll also be such a great spot come winter!
Came here on a Friday night for a wine flight and it was great! Hardly anyone here wine was good and smooth. Flights are only $15 which is about the same as a glass of wine but you get more wine with a flight. Great vibes and atmosphere
The wine was good, but what seems to be the regulars drive new customers away. Our dog was attacked by a customers dog that was off leash, and he immediately admitted that it was not friendly. The dog was then allowed to remain unattended even after another dog walking by was attacked within 30 minutes. This was brought up to the staff and they did nothing to remedy the situation. It seems like they would rather attend to their regular group than drive new sales. We took our business next door where food is served, families are welcome, and the dogs are nice and on leashes.
Owner allows an aggressive dog on the premises. It attacked not only my friends dog but another customers dog within 30 minutes. When brought up a we are aware, but that 's it kind of approach was taken. Wine is pretty good, unfortunately this location isn 't where you should get it at.
