I mistakenly thought charging was free based on their website, so I stopped by three times to plug in and get a small amount of battery charge—about 5%—to reach my next fast charger. This was a huge mistake! I’m even making a YouTube video from my dash cam footage that captures their intimidating behavior. The audio isn't the best since I got out of my car, but their aggressiveness was immediate and very rude. Instead of one person addressing the situation, they sent four out to intimidate me. They claimed their electricity bill was $2,000 the previous month, even though I hadn’t charged there in about three months before this incident. I suggested they consider switching to LED lighting to lower costs and mentioned that my own electric bill has only gone up about $10 a month from charging at home every day—not the hundreds of dollars they seemed to think it costs to charge an electric vehicle. It’s clear that the staff lacks understanding of the future and the technology surrounding electric vehicles. I run three businesses and would never treat customers this way. My car is worth $140,000, so I have no reason to steal their electricity—nor do I need to! I would have willingly made a donation if they had simply asked. This incident happened in broad daylight, and I can’t help but wonder how they behave when they’ve been drinking. Intimidation isn’t a viable solution in today’s world. I generally carry a firearm legally, and had I reacted differently when challenged, things might have escalated unnecessarily—all over something trivial. I just want to warn anyone considering visiting this place, especially if you intend to drink; you might find yourself in a similar situation.

It's a great atmosphere. Very nice they let us borrow it for the family meeting because a loved one died. I am so grateful that we use the place in the time of need and have no great place for everything and everyone. Thank you for everything you have done to help us. Gary Metcalfe
