Delicious takeaway carvaries won through the competition! enjoyed by all! thankyou so much would highly recommend !! will deffo be back for more
Absolutely terrible, 6 of us came in for a Sunday carvery we were presented with 6 piles of slop, couldn't see what was on the plates for mashed potatoes and gravy just slopped together in a big pile, mint sauce tipped onto the top and everything else underneath. I appreciate that there are covid measures in place and that these restaurants are trying their best but presentation of food is everything. why not put a jug of gravy on the table and the saces separately and actually present the food on the plate.
Yesterday me my husband came for breakfast we've been so many times before) Only this time covid has changed so many things, and although I know they are trying to keep thing safe they literally made me feel so uncomfortable. There is a barrier across the door me my husband stood there and a lady stood there no words spoken just staring. We have been to many places since lock down eased all over the country have never seen anything like it on a dining in area. At the local chippy yes but dining in no! We were taken to our seat we ordered from one side of the bar all fine. But it was empty and I'm unsure if this is what is pushing people away. I know it certainly did me the guy she was chasing around to tell him to stay seater probably won't return either. When the guy on the phone went outside the two ladies staff) were speaking about him rather rudely she was saying people just don't care. I didn't need to hear this. I could have been said in the kitchen or something. We went for our breakfast the aldy served us, that's fine we read before we came. No problem. The bacon was just fat fine for hubby) not for me I like it crispy usually it is done nice crispy which is why I've come back many of times. The eggs were awful they were rubbery hard yolk I believe they'd been sat there since opening. We didn't eat much to be honest, nor did we go for another refill tea/coffee because we just felt so awkward with it all. I've been many of times breakfast has always been nice it's always been busy but there other couples there they must be doing something wrong. Personally I'm unsure why the barrier on the door instantly making people feel uncomfortable because they have the scan thing on tables for track trace so would make sense to let people walk in freely. Overall I am dissaponted won't go back. To clarify I do understand the current situation but that's no excuse for the food to be left. Maybe make eggs to order if the customers aren't coming In, maybe look around and see what other bars/restaurant are doing to make things a bit less uncomfortable for people that want to eat out. Honestly never known anything like it for thst I feel sad
