Contribuir a la retroalimentaciónIt is located on the 52nd floor of Banyan Tree Hotel. There is indoor and outdoor seating for your dining experience. Reservation is highly recommended, and there is a dress code for both ladies and gentlemen. Food is amazing and super tasty. Authentic Thai cuisine. Prices are pretty reasonable given the fact of the ambiance and service by the staff. They have good product knowledge as they explain each courses as they serve. Staff are attentive and friendly. Highly recommended for an amazing dining experience with an ambiance. Will definitely return.
Great place to enjoy Thai dishes! Fancy decorating and delicious. The taste a bit salty but in overall is nice
Overall, not too bad for the price, view and service. I personally felt the food is a little bit salty for my liking. I like my suay mak mak mocktail.
Saffron is the Thai restaurant at Banyan Tree Hotel. Located on the 52nd floor, it offers a beautiful view of the Bangkok skyline in a very intimate setting. Reading the reviews, we decided to drop here to try the tasting menu in which I ordered the 7 course and 5 course tasting menu for my partner. We were expecting something that will make us remember the place, maybe some unique take by the chef that amuse our taste buds. In that part we didn't find it, and the food was solid, but nothing special. The service was a let down though. One of the fun things in a tasting menu is that we get to learn about some of the interesting details of the dish from the service. In our service, we were given the name of the dish at times, and silence on the other. During one course in the service(soup), the service couldn't remember who got what dish went back to check and kind of slammed the dish on the table which was a little disturbing. Overall the experience was so-so, big let down in the service department. I won't recommend this place if you are looking for a fine dining experience. However I would recommend the place if you want some solid Thai food(a little expensive though), with an intimate venue, and the amazing view.
Excellent Thai food in contemporary setting on the 52nd floor of the Banyan Tree Hotel. Recommended for off the street and ‘high’ dining.
