Bistro La Chambre - Repentigny

If I could give this place less than one star, I would. I never write reviews, but I feel compelled to share this experience. I made a reservation but didn’t receive any service after waiting for over an hour. This was the worst service I have ever encountered in my life—and I’ve had a long life.

On my most recent visit, we ordered a kids' meal because it was Sunday and it was supposed to be free. However, we were informed at checkout that the menu hadn’t been updated since COVID, so the promotion was no longer valid. To make matters worse, the included dessert wasn’t available because they had run out of stock. I also ordered the same burger again, but this time the pear in it was ice-cold. Overall, I was really let down by these experiences.

I made a reservation for six people, and we were not disappointed at all. The atmosphere was excellent, especially since it was Grey Cup night! The food was really good, and the service was quite prompt despite the busy environment. I highly recommend this restaurant!

As I told my friends before going there: it's like the sports cage but better.Food presentation is magnificent. Generous portions. Best poutines ever!The staff surprised us. Our waitress and busboy/busgirl were always present and ready. Our waitress even found an original way to serve apple juice for a little 4-year-old girl who wanted an adult drink.

I don't know if it's just me, but I really enjoyed my experience at this restaurant; it had a certain charm that reminded me of La Ripaille (I guess that reveals my age, but oh well!). I received excellent service from Alex, and my meal—a crispy Bacon Mac and Cheese—was beyond anything I could have imagined. The quality and customer service were both very impressive. I visited on a Thursday around 4:30 p.m., and I will definitely be returning! For two people, including two drinks and two meals, it was around $60. Seriously, check it out!
