Guess what is for our lunch on the 2nd day in the ice? immediately after the visit of walen we are here for a lunch before I have to work in the afternoon as I have a meeting. wale meat and wolffish with lobster soup brot with butter. appelsin is also local icy orange softdrink. wale is a bit like pork taste actually (my woman says like bak gua lol) wolf fish is like a thick fish meat, not super tasty art, but unique lah her google wolf fish then they will get what I mean.
They flew miles looking for this place. the place is small and simple, reminds me of a family restaurant in the usa, the lobster soup is heavenly, lachssteak is very tasty, brot crispy on the outside, soft on the inside really complimented the suppe. overall we have a very good culinary experience.
One of the must-see restaurants of reykjavik! go so delicious and gentle for the lobster soup! They also have a good selection of freshly caught fish that is transformed into spits. you should try it too! the atmosphere is quite authentic and the place is small and cozy. the personal is friendly and speaks English. the payment by card is possible. they prefer to make a reservation, as the place is very popular among local and tourist.
Simple menu of soup and skewered seafood, but deliciously cooked and friendly service. Don't be fooled by the small room on entry; there are many more tables out the back.
