Contribuir a la retroalimentaciónI had recently been to this restaurant after many years. The food was good. I had my typical asian vegetarian dishes, the service was pretty good. They did have a lot of customers. However, i felt that items were on the pricier side close to the $15 to $20 per dish, and the kick in the stomach was that the portions were on the smaller side, leaving you still hungry as you left the restaurant. I wish they were a little bit more generous with the portions, given the cost of each dish. If you are not one of those fancy overpriced michelin star restaurants, if you are a regular mom and pop restaurant, i expect the prices to be reasonable, and the portions to be more than adequate. This, thankfully, is an easy fix and I hope they do it.
I’ve eaten here on and off over the past decade. Now that I moved to RVA permanently, it’s typically my go-to since I like to shop at Tan A for convenience. I feel like the food has declined some over the years and has less punch to the spices and sauces. The portions have gotten smaller but that’s pretty expected nowadays. I do see that there are less Asian people eating there so maybe that’s why the taste has changed… lol. Not a lot of other decent competition though, so I can’t complain too much since there’s no Eden center here.
Vietnam 1 has delicious, great-quality food. We’ve been getting takeout from this lovely family-owned business for several years.
This was my first time eating Vietnamese. It was OK, but it looked fresh and the family was very friendly.
Food is always delicious and quick. Everywhere in the restaurant are happy customers!
