Contribuir a la retroalimentaciónWhat a great place! The turkey sandwich I had was the best I ever had in my lifeIt was lightly toasted, so the bread is crunchy .
I'm sorry: But, what on earth happened to my once, and for many years, very favorate, AM, feeding place? Now: Super slow service, huge turn-around it all
Great Place to go for Breakfast or Lunch! _Yelp needs to change the listing to "Cafe X-press."
Food was okay. Strange that their menu items were all priced in Yen instead of CAD. Even their specials on a board was priced wrong. I noticed an item that had a higher price on the menu. The owner or manager did a ton of explanation which took a long few minutes which I wasn't interested in. I asked that he just advertise the correct price. And he said it was hard to to. Oh well...
We were attracted by their ad on the paper and also the 10% discount they offered if you presented the ad. We were in the neighbourhood and decided to try this restaurant out. We were the first two guests at 7pm and the only customers until an hour later. One single person came for a la-carte; then a group of eight came as well. They were all returned customers. There was one pick up and another single person came during the whole 1.5 hours meal we were there. The restaurant was not very big but looked OK in terms of the decor and spaciousness. We liked it that they had the "Today's Special" in addition to their menu. The service was good. The food. The colour of the sashimi didn't look very fresh to me. The taste, texture and the look was very average. To be honest, they were not very appealing. The kitchen food was so-so, not bad and also not great. The size of the sushi was great - bite size and not huge with lots of rice. Same for the maki roll however there were 8 pieces per roll versus some restaurants had only six. The kitchen food was average: the soup of noodles were the same; you could skip. The korean spare ribs were quite good; lamb chop OK, The escargoes were a joke. Nothing outstanding. Well, the desert - banana pancake was very good.We then realized that they raised the price to $22 for dinner on a weekday. Well, for that money you have many better choices to go. We would prefer Kenkou (on Steeles). Or Shogun or The Legend (on Finch) if you don't mind paying a couple of dollars more per person.
