Bamboo Buffet - Rockville

We went there at around 5pm on 11/26/2022. After we paid at the register, we went towards the far side of the restaurant. When we were about to sit down and we noticed that there was a mice ran across the dining area. We immediately notified the waitress and then proceeded to the cashier and asked for a refund. We stayed there in less than 5 minutes. Definitely not going back there.

It seemed like they were missing a lot of options. The dessert counter was half empty, and the ice cream machine was broken. The entrees were just ok (the lo mein was cold, and the food looked like it had been out a while.

Was not a good experience. We all had upset stomachs and the food choices are very slim. I know it's a buffet but it was nasty and everything was sticky and had gunk on it.

Place was busy even during an off time, but busy enough to be crowded. Staff seemed pleasant and attentive. Which is typically a great sign for a buffet place, however, the food was concerning, to say the least. A few of the options seemed suspect, some sort of bone in fish that seems to have been long abandoned. (Very few items had labels, and the ones that did, well let's say the wontons looked very much like garlic bread). But I'm not one to pass judgement on a dry sad

Food was great. The staff preparing the soups were excellent and it took three minutes to make my delicious seafood Pho. ????
