After checking in, you can take the elevator or stairs to the rooftop where the party is happening. Now, if it’s winter and you’re wearing a thick coat, it might be cumbersome while dancing. No worries—they have a large coat check where you can leave your jacket for around $5, allowing you to fully enjoy the party. What I love about Mix is its thoughtful design. The spacious rooftop features gas fire pits, heaters, and plenty of tables and seating. There’s also a more enclosed area with a massive dance floor! They have two separate bars with fantastic bartenders who serve delicious cocktails—again, don’t forget to tip them! They’re dedicated and ensure that you and your friends have a great time all weekend long. Mix attracts the best DJs in the Sacramento area, offering an exciting blend of Latin, hip hop, house, and party music. The dance floor really comes alive after 11 PM, so get there early if you want to secure your spot on the floor. One of the standout features of Mix is its diverse clientele. You’ll encounter people of all ages and backgrounds, creating a vibrant atmosphere where everyone feels welcome! The security team is excellent—very friendly and attentive, ensuring a safe environment for you and your friends to enjoy yourselves. Now, if you’ve had a few drinks and need to use the restroom, you’ll find one of the cleanest and most upscale facilities around. No unpleasant odors or messes—you’ll walk into a pristine restroom every time! Overall, I can confidently say that Mix is one of the best places to dance, celebrate, or reconnect with friends. Whether you’re sitting around a fire pit on the rooftop or savoring delicious cocktails, you’re bound to have a great time. Give it a try—you won’t regret it!

The service from our VIP host was fantastic! She was friendly and very attentive. The music was enjoyable as well. However, there were a few areas that could use improvement. Upon arrival, we waited in the Table Reservations line but were ignored by the bouncers, who were more focused on attending to a group that was completely out of dress code. Some members of this group were wearing sweatpants, jeans, and sneakers, and one girl was even in Adidas slides. The person who escorted us to our table didn’t speak a word to us and was also dressed casually. Given the dress code stated on the website, I was expecting a more upscale experience.
