Pizzeria Du Marche - Saint-Aulaye

We ate here on our journey back to Caen from the Dordogne. Reasonably nice setting even if it is one car park. The Pizzas are excellent quality with an unusual twist of including a raw egg in the centre of the topping. I'm sure it is supposed to be cooked during the oven baking but mine was very runny. All in all a very nice lunch well served and tasty.

At short notice decided to go for dinner, instead of cooking myself. Very warm welcome and lovely service.

We were very hungry and as this was the first place we came to after parking in the large square we decided on a pizza. We were the only ones eating and we found that the pizzas were excessively covered with cheese, my daughters pizza was covered with potato and my wifes pizza was overloaded with cream. Whilst the pizzas filled a hole they weren't anything exceptional..

Very good pizza, good reception. That's right. We'll be back without hesitation.

Very good pizzas but terrace not ready to welcome web customers of spiders on chaisses and tables. The gardeners are not removed...
