Contribuir a la retroalimentaciónThis was one of our favourite restaurants, last Sunday we went for lunch and ended up walking out. There were a few people in the place, but it was by no means full, we ordered starters and mains and a drink whilst we waited. 1 hour and 2 drinks later we had not been served with any food. Every request for information was met with "its coming". Finally a table who arrived after us were served with their starter " because theirs was easier to make" . We walked out and sadly it will be a long while before we go again and then probably only a Monday night when we are the only customers
Nicely decorated and cool ambient Mexican and Burguer restaurant. We opted for Mexican dinner: Ceviche was not exceptional, Nachos very good as well as the burritos (hot) and the Enchilada. Expect about 18euros
So many places in st jea-de-Luzon we cafes or tapas, we wanted good, honest, proper food so we would be full when we left! This is what we got. Tex mex/American/proper food!! Three of us shared nachos, mixed platter to start and then had the enchiladas. Enjoyed it all, nothing was left, perfect! Food reasonably priced, the drinks we had pushed our bill up in price but was a nice night. A little trick to find but worth a trip
Good food, and good value. The staff were very efficient as well. We had fajitas and enchiladas and they were very tasty, if not haut cuisine. My wife had a nice cocktail as well.
Arrived at 1950hrs and the restaurant didn't open until 2000hrs it was a freezing cold night so I went to ask to come in and got the good old fashioned french shrug of the shoulders, 4 staff all stood talking at the bar doing nothing and they were very unwelcoming so we awaited in the dark on the terrace until opening time. When we came in the waitress looked like she couldn't be bothered and the inside of the restaurant was very cold and even I had to go back to the car and put my thick winter jumper on inside. The setting is nice and the decorative style of the restaurant is good and the menu looked appetising but all of the food we had was no good at all. There was no flavor and I think that if a restaurant is trying to do Mexican food, plus steakhouse plus french cuisine then this is too many options to make any of them right. My wife had the rack of ribs which was just basic ribs with a bottle sauce poured over the top, she was looking forward to something different and got this, very unhappy. So the food was poor, the service was poor and the atmosphere was dead. It seemed to take forever to get our order of food and drinks and there were only 4 other tables in the restaurant, god knows how they handle with a full house. the staff seemed uninterested and very disjointed like they were not working together as a team at all. The waitress either didn't care, had no interest or she didn't know the menu or the wine list as she didn't share any of her knowledge to help us make our order. I think you need to stick to one theme, do it right and do it good. We came originally for the Mexican food as there is no great variety of restaurants in SW France and to be honest I cook far better Mexican dishes at home with tastier non-jar ingredients and for a small % of the price. Overall, expensive poor tasting food with a lack of atmosphere.
