And the cone definitely adds to the meal with some sweet flavor. There are many options! Something for everyone. I don’t know about any other locations but the customer service is awesome. They even bring you your food. Very friendly. I’ve only been here on Sunday’s but I’m willing to be their Sunday customer service is a reflection of the entire team! #GoodEats
First time going inside Chick'nCone, not the first time trying it, but first time buying! Overall, the experience was great. I actually loved the seating inside which I wish I got a picture of. We sat by the window and it was almost like bar style seating and we could look out the window and people watch which I thought was cool. There's regular tables inside as well and it's got a variety of seating from stools to high chairs. I got a cinna-maple chick'ncone with a vanilla shake! The shake had some of the waffle pieces in it and it was so good. The chicken in the cone was not dry at all. One thing I wish is that maybe the cone had some sort of flavor? It basically is just a vehicle for the chicken but maybe add some butter flavor or sweet flavor? I need to come back to try all the flavors and I was eyeing that Chick'nBowl!
Great customer service. Let us sample several of the sauces. The food was very fresh.
Good food and a novel concept. Got the Chick'nCone with honey ? fire sauce (good but not too spicy). Got the Cajun corn very good with just the right amount of spice. Meals are a little pricey for what you get, but it's still a fun and good meal.Parking: Parking structure (Bldg), attached to the same building. It looks like an alley off the main street.
I will confess that I have a large weakness for chicken and waffles. It is one of those dishes that shouldn't work, but somehow just does. I work in the CWE and have passed Chick'nCone dozens of times. One of my co-workers swears by their chicken and I decided to break down and give it a try. I've been to Chick-Fil-A, Slim's Chicken, and Raising Canes so those were my mental benchmarks. You can get a chicken sandwich or tenders in a variety of sauces. Of course why would I go to a restaurant called Chick'nCone and NOT try the waffle cones. I got a basic cone filled with buffalo style chicken. There were a ton of different toppings, but I decided to go with a classic. It felt a bit awkward to eat chicken bits sitting in a cone, but I got over the hesitation after a couple bites. I'm happy to say that the sweet and spicy combination was lovely. The cone was light and had the right amount of sweetness. The fries were also good. So overall I really enjoyed my meal. The only reason I'm giving it four rather than five stars is that it is a bit of a niche store and won't be for everyone.
