Contribuir a la retroalimentaciónThey are firing on all four cylinders! 1) Great space: I have sat at both the bar (staff and other bar patrons friendly and knowledgeable) and private tables (nice vaulted ceiling). 2) Great food: love the quail eggs on nest of fried onions and the burger. Also had a great pairing of halibut crudo with an English Mild beer (Into the Mild) they brew in-house! which brings me to the beer. 3) They have a great selection of in-house (Chili Porter, Basil Lemon Saison, and a couple of their Rye IPA/PA styles are my favorites) and other local breweries. 4) Finally they have great bar staff that dreams up a great cocktail list.
Retro-styled brasserie-bar with good beer and inventive but not entirely successful food (too much frying and salting). Popular with white 30-something gentry. Very noisy and cozy. Generally not suitable for families with small kids, though the fiendly staff accommodated us.
Great food, good beer and nice cozy atmosphere. All their brewery beer is gluten free, which is awesome. Highly recommend you stop passing by it and get some good food and brew.
This place is a solid 4 stars, maybe even 4.5 stars. Food was well thought out and the menu offers a diverse selection of small and larger plates. Here is what we had: Quail eggs with fried onions: The quail eggs were well prepared but the fried onions were a bit dry for my taste and acted almost like kale used to at a buffet. Chili- We loved this so much we actually ordered two of them. This has an incredible smoky, robust flavor and is perfectly complimented by their house-made cornbread. Spaetzle- This was also delicious. Cocktails- Well crafted and complimented the food well. Had the whistle stop and would order this again for sure. Definitely want to come back and try the trout and the bavette steak. You will not be let down by anything on the menu. Also, tax and tip are included!
Not what it used to be, but still a good experience.
