Perbacco is one of my favorite Italian restaurants, and I've been dining here for more than a decade. The pasta dishes are incredible, and I don't understand why there isn't more hype around this place. The fritto misto and tajarin are my go to's, but honestly, you can't go wrong with anything here.

I had the pleasure of having dinner at this quaint little Northern Italian style restaurant last night. The staff was engaging and the food an wine were superb. The owner Umberto is gracious and kind. And if you sit at the bar, ask for Steve. His wine knowledge is spot on. I enjoyed a traditional Caesar salad with fresh anchovies for my starter and then the Tajarin pasta for my main. OMG! The pasta melts in your mouth and the marinated pork is seasoned perfectly. I don't usually finish all of my food. But I did last night. I couldn't stop eating. It was too good! Please check out this cute little spot if you're in downtown SF. Is a great hidden gem.
