Avilas El Ranchito Corona Del Mar

I had the Shrimp al Mojo de Ajo. It was excellent. I would definitely get it again. Shrimp was nicely cooked. The garlic butter is just fantastic. Chips and salsa was very good. Excellent overall, I highly recommend it

We had so much fun last night at El Ranchito! Thank you Craig and Gonzalo! Your fun attitude made the evening a memorable one. Craig was so attentive and personable and Gonzalo was so friendly. We had a great time talking to them both . We will be back!

Great food! Steak fajita was excellent. Chips and salsa are really good also. Highly recommend El Ranchito!

Filthy and horrible service. Waiter held my ID hostage. Asked for drink menu and wouldn't bring it. Margaritas? More like tap water margs. Silver ware was dirty. Food was not authentic- and I would know because I'm an Expat. Food was just warmed up and not prepared by hand. Tables smelled horrible. And I mean HORRIBLE. Not worth taking the food to go.

2 stars for the friendly service however this is not really authentic Mexican food. The chicken enchiladas are bland and there is absolutely no flavor to the chicken. The salsa is also full of tomato sauce and you need to fish for the tomatoes and onions in the salsa. Given the prices I guess it is not that bad but definitely wouldn't recommend or come back.
