A's Pizza Grill - San Diego

Horrible Food I am writing this review right now because my wife ordered this garbage on my daughter's birthday and had this awful pizza delivered. The profit margins for Pizza Hut must be huge when they ripoff customers with hidden charge for garbage food. I feel sorry for people who subject themselves to this garbage on a good vacation.

This place has the most terrible pizza in San Diego. Very Salty and poor ingredients. I thought the crust tasted worse than the cheapest frozen pizzas from the 7-Eleven or grocery store (7-Eleven pizza is way less costly and better). The crust was irregular and undercooked and the cheese tasted rotten. Pizza crust should be doughy and delicious. This was just not. I got the works topping which is their specialty but tasted mediocre and left me feeling sick. I was also overcharged by over 8 dollars which remain unexplained.

I went with my family today to Broadway pizza. When we walked in I noticed it was fairly empty, and no hostess. Dining area was dirty with dirty stains on the floor and even on tables. A homeless guy was sitting on the corner watching TV. Employees were eating around us. We waited 40 mins for the pizza which tasted terrible: Bad sauce. Acid sauce with a cardboard crust. And over charged our debit card. Simply terrible!!

Broadway Pizza has great food and recently I came to know a lot more has added to the menu and hours of operations are twenty four around the clock and they offer the yummiest breakfast in town. This place is my number one choice:

What a let-down. I have been going to Broadway Pizza for years. I was a bit turned off when a friend of mine said she saw a cockroach or two scampering around when she was dining about a year ago. Having worked in the restaurant field-I know how pesky bug control can be and I didn't think too much of it until recently. A co-worker took on a second job there. It wasn't long before she quit. She said the conditions were deplorable. Not only were there cockroaches, but there were mice. To top it off, the pizza area was under the bathroom that leaked all over the prep table. COME ON!?!?! This is disgusting and appalling! Neither I nor my husband has been back since. I can't believe that they are unable to take care of unsanitary and contaminated conditions!? I will never go back-unless I see some BIG changes. Go dine there if you want to risk your health!
