The all tasted delicious and didn't lack any flavor. I got the convo with the beans and rice. I like using the beans to dip the popusas(I appreciate that they put it in a separe container too) My only complaint is that the red sauce was not spicy and it was just bad. In addition I got the tamarind water and it was very good. The service is fast and everything is very clean. They have tables inside if you want to eat in the place or you can just order to go. 100% recommend.
The food took over 20 minutes to come, and it was tight before lunch so the food shouldn’t have taken this long. The pupusas was bland, overall just very tasteless, but oddly the steak from the plate only had the taste of salt and nothin else. Eggs are cooked the way a 5 yr old would cook the eggs. So much cheese and bread but little to no actual filling, and the bread was overly doughy and heavy. This has left a pretty bad impression of salvadorean food on me
Two times I order food from them, the first time they gave me the wrong empanadas instead of leche they gave me beans, the second order the next day they didn't send me my atol de maiz or the horchata.
Good food made fresh, but that means it's not fast I'll definitely order ahead next time. The decor is nothing to look at, but the sound of several ladies laughing loudly from the kitchen was definitely cheerful. If they're having this much fun making food ot has to be good! Nice variety of pupusas. My friend (from Mexico) had the caldo de camarones and really enjoyed it said it tasted like home cooking.
The tables are left with dirty plates for a very long time. I sat there and no one cleaned the tables for at least 45 minutes.
