The food here is good quality and authentic. My daughter and I dropped in for rice porridge and Chinese donut. The food was good. The highlight of the visit was the grandma taking our order, kudos and admiration to her. (I assume her family owns the business. She is probably in her 70s or 80s and was waiting on tables and refilling the table condiment containers. The secret to a healthy and active old age must be to eat here and stay active. We left her a 30% tip. Go granny!
Our family has been frequenting this restaurant for over 15 years, ever since I was a child. I am a loyal customer and find it to be a great value for the money. This Cantonese Chinese restaurant is my favorite of all time due to the incredible taste of the food. I constantly crave their dishes. The service is efficient and straightforward, with the food arriving quickly and piping hot. Every dish is flavorful and delicious. Some of my favorites include goat clay pot with bean curd, oyster with scallions and ginger, kingdom fried rice (loaded with seafood), lobster garlic noodles that are rich and buttery, and their seasonal vegetables cooked with their signature wok hay flavor, such as fermented tofu water spinach or garlic pea sprouts.
- Peking duck buns: The skin was super crispy and some parts of the meat were dry, but the buns were fluffy and not soggy. I recommend asking for more buns, green onions, and sauce as there is a lot of meat. - Fried rice with fish roe: Mild enough to accompany other dishes on the table or can be eaten alone. My grandma loved it! - Honey walnut shrimp: Battered and thinly-coated shrimp with a mayo sauce that wasn't too thick. The shrimp was soft and chewy. - Lobster garlic noodles: Egg noodles tossed with garlicky-seasoned lobster. Delicious but had to use a fork to get the meat out. - Ginger lobster: Tasty sauce with ginger coating the lobster meat. Really enjoyed this dish. - Fried lobster: Always a favorite, best to pull the meat out and taste the breading on the shell. - Sweet and sour fried pork: Good balance of sweet and tartness coating the pork. Thinness worked well with fried rice. - Crispy fried pork: Garlicky with jalapeños, too salty to eat alone so we had it with fried rice. Same thinness as sweet and sour pork. - Stir-fried greens and shiitake mushrooms: Bitter mustard greens with flavorful mushrooms, had a strong taste even after dessert. The meal ended with slices of sour oranges on ice, a decent palate cleanser. They also provided plates and utensils for the cake we brought. Overall, a lovely dining experience for my family!
My family and I have been dining at this restaurant for three generations. We absolutely love their lobster garlic noodles, Peking duck, honey walnut shrimp, salt and pepper fish fillet, hú tiếu mì, bánh bột chiên chúng, and more. I highly recommend this place as all the dishes taste authentic.
