Contribuir a la retroalimentaciónI booked The Country Buffet for my upcoming wedding March 18th. I have been trying to get in touch w/ them for over a month to get paperwork needed by my venue and have gotten no response from the owner nor other point of contact for the catering side. So disappointed and upset that in less than 30 days from my wedding I am out a caterer and having to book someone else. I am now attempting to get my deposit back have gotten no response on that either. Poor communication and just straight up disappointed in this business. I sure hope this doesn’t happen to anyone else.
Well, I drove from SC to meet a friend and the restaurant was closed. Wish Google maps would have mentioned that to me.
Staff was non chalent, didn’t say hello welcome, nothing. We had to ask if we seat ourselves, they seat us, etc and then had to ask if we go to buffet or what. I guess not used to out of town visitors. Food was ok, mostly cold, what was left. We got there an hour before closing (sign said open 3 hrs for lunch) so thought things would be warm and kept full. I’ve like to try local owned places however this was not friendly place to visit.
I’m very confused about the positive reviews. First of all the place is absolutely disgusting, flies everywhere, sticky floors, gross. The food is definitely NOT homemade probably very processed. I took a few bites of vegetables and just paid and left. The two ladies that were working there were pleasant that’s about it. Feel bad if you think this is good food
I am so mad that I didn't know this place was here. The food is absolutely great! I will be back again and again. Sweet tea and southern fare is top notch.
